Mindfulness Based Therapy
Honesty, gentleness, and new possibility
Choose what happens next.
Moving beyond reactions….into a more thougtful way of responding to your life.
Therapy can help you better understand the ways you've learned to cope, recognize what may no longer be serving you, and develop more intentional ways of living your life.
-
The past does not determine the future, but it often shapes how we see ourselves, others, and the world. Understanding your story can help illuminate patterns and open new possibilities.
-
Learn to respond to yourself with greater understanding rather than old habits of criticism, fear, or self-doubt.
-
Develop practical tools to feel more grounded, present, and steady during times of stress.
About Shira
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Oregon. I help people make sense of difficult life experiences, manage mood more effectively, and become clear.
I work from the belief that understanding yourself more deeply can change the way you experience life and relate to others. I earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College and have been in private practice for over 13 years.
I integrate concepts from Jungian depth psychology, symbols, and the unconscious with tools drawn from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT) and other evidence-based approaches, helping people develop greater insight, freedom, and choice.

Taking the first step can feel vulnerable. I am honored to help individuals better understand what has shaped them, reconnect with what feels true, and move toward a more fulfilling way of living.
